Occupier Consulting was founded by Steve Walbridge, a commercial real estate tenant representation veteran since 1982. 

Steve created the firm with the mandate of delivering superior transaction management, strategic advisory services and project management services. 

Steve has focused primarily on office, flex and industrial occupiers during his career. Over the many years in the business Steve earned the reputation as a fierce tenant advocate and as a savvy creator of leverage on behalf of the occupier. Steve has been a top producer at both Savills (Steve started in 1982 at Studley which was acquired by Savills) and Cushman & Wakefield. Steve was also a member of the board of directors during his tenure at Savills. 

Steve has executed over 15 million square feet of transactions globally with a focus on occupiers in the technology, aerospace, media and financial industries as well as large law firms. 

Steve is cross-trained as a project manager uniquely skilled at brokerage and in overseeing the design and construction aspects of every transaction. Steve is a licensed general contractor. 

Steve has also had extensive development and acquisition experience with nearly $400m in development completed/in process and over $200m in office acquisitions when he ran Lincoln Property Company in Southern California. This experience has proved invaluable as a tenant rep broker in expanding his knowledge of design; construction; debt and equity placement; and property management. Steve is acting as general contractor on a number of development projects.
